AS - separated from her husband, has 2 children.
She has her own business where she provides home organizing services - while working on these projects, she interact with many people who share their personal stories about objects in their house, in order to decide whether to keep them or get rid of them.
AS is living in London for almost 10 years, her dad is originally from the UK and her mum from Argentina, she was born and raised in Israel so she feels comfortable with the idea of being an immigrant, disposition of the home, being a foreigner, having an accent and so. She never felt completely Israeli when she lived in Israel so it doesn't bother her to live in London. Following her move, her sister, dad and recently her mum all moved to the UK as well.
While she was experiencing hardship during her immigration to the UK, she received support from local friends and her mum. She has few friends in Israel but most of her friends and her home is considered to be in London.
Sound
Good
I hear this song on the radio from time to time and it always lifts my spirit. My kids know already that this song makes me dance in the kitchen and if they don't stand back I'll start dancing with them...
Bad
It's hard for me to think about a song or a piece that make me feel bad. Generally speaking, the wrong song at the wrong time can drive me crazy or set down my mood but it's variant.
Coldplay usually bums me, simply because all their songs sound so whiny. There are songs from a specific period (1997 to be clear) that remind me of a friend who was killed in a car crash that year.
she loved kitsch pop contemporary music (that I disliked) like Jennifer Lopez, boys bands and such when I hear one of these songs it makes me feel sad because I remember and misses her, but I also remember the good times we had together.
Sight
recently I love Klimt (Portrait of Adele Bloch-Bauer I) I love the richness, the plentiful, the pattern, gold, animals, they brighten the room where they are being displayed.
I never liked photos of wide view especially of the ocean, they make me feel small and lonely.
Smell
Good
A smell that I always love and every time I smell it lift up my mood is the smell of horses. Between the age of ten and the time we moved to London (10 years ago), I use to ride on a regular base, I was even teaching riding for several years. I love this intoxicating sense, although every time I smell it I also feel a pinch of longing and yearning but I still love it very much. Every time I smell them I was to get closer to them, even a ride in a touristic carriage, or policeman riding one.
Bad
There are so many disgusting smells, but the smell that makes me feel bad is the smell of baby wipes. when I smell it, I go back to the time when my children were babies, they hardly slept and I was in a chronic condition of exhaustion. It was not a bad time, I just remember being very tired all the time, and not functioning well. I still can't stand this smell...
