I created a chart from the list of songs given to me by one of the women I interviewed regarding the sense of sound. It came out very interesting, and I couldn't help myself from thinking, why didn't I do one for myself?
I thought about it, maybe I don't remember many songs from my childhood or adolescence, and I left it aside, but after a day or so, I started thinking about it again, and realise that I'm not connected to the object I made, it's not my style of music, I need to have my own list, so I started working on one now, and it will be my object as a chart or a graph, I will think about the exact design when I have the numbers. The idea of it and the list of songs I came up with already are very exciting.
Gipsy marsh - I'm about 3 or 4 years old before we moved to Nigeria, my parents put this piece and I was wearing my mum's nightgown and danced in the living room, sometimes when it was just the family, sometimes for guests. I don't remember doing so, I just remember the story.
charles aznavour comme il desent - when I was a child, we used to travel a lot in our car. We had few cassettes that were on heavy routine, Israeli songs, pop hits, french chansons, this one I remember most from some reason, his voice was remarkable but I didn't understand the lyrics. I remember my parents explain it to me roughly, I was quite young, and it was very strange to me but acceptable.
David bowie five years - My cousin A introduced me to Ziggy Stardust. I remember I was hypnotized. Later when I was a little older, I remember loving this song especially, maybe fantasize that I was drinking a milkshake.
Tell Laura I love her - this song was also part of our car cassettes repertoire, this song brought me to tears so many times, I remember my mum was quite shocked from it and didn't understand why.
Duran Duran the chauffer 1982 - Duran Duran were my favourite band as a little girl, up until I was 12-13, I thought they were gods, I loved all the songs, I knew every detail about them, my room was covered with their posters. I love this song particularly, more than the usual hits. something about the rhythm.
Wham freedom 1984 - my second favourite band back then was Wham. George Michal mostly. I preferred this song, which was a hit but not the top ten.
Spandau ballet I'll fly for you 1984 - Spandau Ballet were not my favourite, but I loved some of their songs. I remember listening to the hit list at the end of 1984, waiting to record the songs I liked from the live radio. I was waiting to hear this song, which I really liked, we reached the top ten and it was still not on, I remember I was very disappointed that it didn't come up.

14-11 So the list is a lot in my mind, I wrote down some of the songs but not all, I add every day a song or so, I feel like I remember things that happened in my life many years ago, and they come to life with the songs. It's an amazing experience. I thought about an artefact to add to my quilt, like a cassette, and now I'm not sure if adding this piece is for myself, or in vain. I think it should be a good exercise for every person, to create their life's soundtrack.
